Wine, unique museums, Olive Oil, super-charming stone villages – this tour is offering something for everyone’s taste. Choose your own style!
After pick-up, you drive to Rovinj – probably the most romantic town in Istria. The super-charming old town, a 1200 years old sarcophagus and cobbled streets filled with artisans are waiting for you. Then, you continue to Bale. This small town was once a hideout of famous Giacomo Casanova (check out the Soardo-Bembo Palace) whilst today it’s known for excellent olive oil producers. Join an extra virgin olive oil tasting or follow the traces of Casanova within the tiny stone-walled old town. Next stop is Vodnjan. Before World War 2, this was one of the liveliest towns in Istria. Today it is being reborn again as a cultural and culinary destination in Istria. Join a professional wine tasting of typical Istrian grapes or become an art hunter and find all the world-class murals scattered around the village town of Vodnjan. Ask your Krug Guide for more insights. The tour ends in the afternoon.
